Job Title: Van Driver Agent – Mobile Gold Buying (Self-Employed)

About the Role
We are supporting the expansion of an established Nordic mobile gold buying concept into the UK market. The model is simple: a branded van travels to different towns and cities, meeting pre-booked private customers, evaluating their gold jewellery on the spot, and buying it from them.
As a Van Driver Agent, you will be the face of the service in your area. You will drive the van, visit customers at pre-arranged appointments, handle the valuation process and complete purchases in a professional and customer-friendly way.
Full training on the process, pricing model and equipment will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive a company van to pre-booked customer appointments within your region
* Greet customers, explain the process clearly and build trust during the visit
* Weigh and assess gold jewellery and other small gold items (training and tools provided)
* Use the provided pricing tools to calculate offers in line with the company’s guidelines
* Negotiate and agree the final purchase price with customers
* Complete all required documentation and digital records accurately
* Safely handle and secure purchased gold and any cash or payment instruments
* Follow security, compliance and anti-money-laundering procedures at all times
* Represent the brand in a professional, polite and reliable manner
What We’re Looking For
* UK driving licence (Category B) with good, confident driving skills
* Previous experience in field-based work, sales, delivery, jewellery, pawnbroking, or customer service is an advantage, but not essential
* Strong people skills – able to build rapport quickly and handle sensitive money-related conversations
* Fluent English, written and spoken
* Good numeracy and comfort working with prices, weights and simple calculations
* High level of integrity and reliability – you will be handling valuable items and payments
* Willingness to undergo a background and reference check
* Self-employed mindset – comfortable managing your own day and taking responsibility for results
