Are you an enthusiastic, dedicated primary teacher ready to take on a rewarding upper-KS2 role?
A welcoming and supportive primary school in BS15 is seeking an experienced teacher to lead their Year 5/6 class through the summer terms.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact as pupils prepare for the transition into secondary school.
The Role In this full-responsibility position, you will:
* Teach and lead a mixed Year 5/6 class
* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum
* Support pupils' academic progress and wellbeing
* Prepare Year 6 pupils for end-of-year expectations
* Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
* Work collaboratively with the senior leadership team and wider staff
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers
* Contribute to the wider school community
What We're Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Strong experience within upper KS2 (Year 5/6 preferred)
* Confident classroom and behaviour management
* Ability to hit the ground running with planning and assessment
* A creative, resilient, and organised practitioner
* Commitment to school values and pupil wellbeing
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
