Great opportunity here to join a prestigious company in a senior role You will have 4 direct reports and 40 indirect.
The Role
* Lead and manage the team across 2 production shifts.
* Identify continuous improvement opportunities across the production and warehouse areas and help drive the change.
* Ensuring site KPIs are achieved.
* Promote food safety and quality standards.
* Ensure the department is audit compliant at all times.
* Assist in the development of the weekly production plan.
* Promoting and engaging in cross departmental teamwork.
The Candidate
* Experience working within a Food / Drink Manufacturing environment.
* Must have previous Managerial / Supervisory experience.
* Must be organised and happy to work under pressure.
* Experience and awareness in BRC / HACCP / ISO 14001/ GMP Audits.
* Must enjoy being hands on and enjoy training and developing people.
* Excellent people skills including coaching and developing staff.
* H and S knowledge and experience, ideally IOSH Managing Safely as a minimum.
* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement Techniques.
* Flexible with working hours to fulfil roles and responsibilities across both shifts.
