You will work closely with the Global Head of Learning Services (GHOLS) to ensure that the team activities are aligned with the overall business strategy and objectives. In addition, you will be the primary learning lead for the EMEA region, working with a network of in-market HR contacts to offer guidance and support on any learning-related issues within their markets. Team Lead Responsibilities As LSTL, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective reporting mechanisms to track progress against key performance indicators, and for providing regular updates to senior stakeholders on the status of ongoing projects. You will be able to analyse data and identify trends, and use this information to make informed decisions about how best to allocate resources and prioritise workstreams. The LSTL will be quality-focused and ensure that the team follows existing processes and ways of working, but they should also have a continuous improvement mindset which allows them to implement improvements to drive innovation and efficiency. The LSTL will be confident, assertive and action-orientated with a proactive approach to problem solving. EMEA Lead The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, as they will be required to work closely with stakeholders across the region to understand their learning needs and provide guidance and support where necessary. They must be able to build strong relationships with colleagues at all levels of the organisation and be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. To succeed in this role, you must have excellent organisational skills and be able to track and manage the workload pipeline, re-prioritise workstreams as needed, and ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will also work collaboratively across various business units within Hogarth, working with SME's to ensure that colleagues who work in these areas have access to the training resources and support they need to successfully deliver their work. Your main objective will be to ensure that the team is aligned with the overall business strategy and objectives, which will involve hosting weekly team meetings and one-to-ones with direct reports, managing the annual appraisal and feedback process, quarterly check-ins, as well as ensuring that key messages from the GHOLS are properly communicated to the team in a timely manner. You will report directly to the GHOLS and have regular meetings with them to discuss ongoing and upcoming initiatives, and you will collaborate on making strategic decisions about workstreams and the team. Relationship Management A key part of the role involves collaborating with your colleagues in Learning Services, engaging with your network of regional HR colleagues, as well as production SME's. It's essential that you are a clear and confident communicator who enjoys working with others as part of a team, have excellent interpersonal skills and can confidently interact with/influence senior stakeholders. Project Management You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of learning-related projects so it's vital that you are able to assess training needs, define scope, as well as agree resource commitments and timelines. You should have experience leading projects, developing associated comms and managing risks. You will be given the responsibility and autonomy to define the best approach and will provide regular feedback to the GHOLS on the progress of the project portfolio. Creating Content and Training DeliveryIt is beneficial if you have experience creating supporting learning content across various media: E-learning content using publishing tools like Storyline and Rise Managing modules and user records in a LMS platform Video content using tools like Camtasia User guides and support material using Illustrator, Photoshop, Keynote and other publishing tools Microsite content which is updated and stored in SharePoint From time to time, you may be expected to deliver training sessions, so we are looking for someone who is a confident and clear communicator and able to deliver various type of training: Virtually, using tools like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WebEx and other webinar tools Face to face workshops in a class-room environment About you You will hit the ground running and immerse yourself in getting to understand the team and our business. You'll be an effective communicator with the ability to quickly form meaningful relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders. You'll have experience planning and delivering training sessions which showcase your excellent communication skills. You will have an affinity for technology and are able to take complex ideas and processes and pitch them at the right level for audiences with varying degrees of knowledge. You'll have creative flair and will enjoy developing support material which follows brand guidelines. You are constantly looking for ways to make things slicker and more effective. Demonstrating initiative, you'll be practical and realistic about finding the right balance between quality and quantity. The ability to navigate your way in environments with evolving requirements is essential. As you will be working on multiple workstreams simultaneously, you'll need to remain flexible and agile while demonstrating good multi-tasking abilities.
