An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and highly organised Office Manager to join a leading regional food supplier. This well-established business serves a wide range of clients including pubs, restaurants, schools, hotels, care homes, and hospitals across the North East. With ambitious plans for growth over the next four years, they are looking for an experienced Office Manager to play a pivotal role in supporting the business’s ongoing success.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a varied and fast-paced role, combining people management, operational oversight, and hands-on administration. You’ll be responsible for managing the internal account management team, coordinating administrative support for the business development managers, and overseeing day-to-day office operations.

Key Responsibilities of the Office Manager:

* Lead and support the internal account management team to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency

* Coordinate and streamline administrative tasks for the business development team

* Oversee the smooth running of daily office operations including supplies, systems, and facilities

* Act as a central point of communication between sales, operations, and logistics

* Contribute to internal processes to improve workflow, productivity, and customer experience

* Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting to support business decisions

* Support with HR administration and assist in onboarding and training staff within your teams

* Drive a positive office culture and ensure team morale remains high during busy periods

What’s Required:

* Proven experience in office management, team leadership, or operational coordination

* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Confidence in using Microsoft Office and other business systems

* A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement

* Experience supporting sales or customer service teams is a bonus
