The role
You will:
* Help vulnerable children and young people find a foster home that can transform their future.
* Supervise and advise foster carers, ensuring both carers and children have the support they need to thrive.
* Visit homes, keep in touch with carers and young people, and act as a safeguarding champion with everyone’s best interests at heart.
* Maintain lower caseloads to reduce risk and offer more bespoke, person‑centric focus, providing more time to work closely with young people and their carers.
* Collaborate with specialist clinical teams to identify and provide appropriate support such as occupational therapy, art therapy, and trauma and attachment specialists.
* Ensure children and young people are safe, well looked after, and that high standards are consistently maintained.
Who we are looking for
* BA or MA degree in social work, registered with the appropriate body, and a full driving licence.
* Passionate about building incredible lives for children and supporting foster carers.
* Previous social work experience, particularly with young people who have a history of trauma and enhanced needs.
* Confident, imaginative, energetic, and open‑minded, ready to take real responsibility and benefit from the support we offer.
* Willing to share skills and experience to help the whole team excel.
