Director of Governance, Risk and Regulatory Compliance Reports to: CEO On behalf of a large, growing organisation on the South Coast, Chilworth Partnership are seeking an executive level Risk and Governance professional with a proven track record of delivering strategy. Reporting to the Board, the Director of Governance, Risk and Regulatory Compliance will oversee four critical functions, with responsibility for a large team. Key responsibilities: Lead regulatory compliance, governance standards and statutory adherence across the organisation, embedding requirements into operations, assurance and strategic planning. Oversee all governance servicing for the Group Board, Committees and Executive Board, ensuring effective agendas, papers, minutes and annual governance planning. Direct the Company Secretariat and ensure delivery of statutory and regulatory obligations across all entities. Develop and implement governance frameworks and policies that enable strong decision-making and assurance. Provide strategic regulatory leadership and act as a key contact for the RSH, FCA, Charities Commission and other regulators. Lead policy development, ensuring alignment with legislation, regulatory expectations and sector best practice, while anticipating emerging regulatory and policy trends.
