Registered Nurse / Operating Department Practitioner

An exciting opportunity has arisen and we are looking for an enthusiastic scrub nurse or ODP to become part of our friendly team at Tiverton day case unit. You will be working within the day case theatre. We can offer you an excellent work life balance as we are open Monday-Friday 8-6, no weekends, no bank holidays.

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and dedicated Registered Theatre Nurse / Operating Department Practitioner to join our friendly team within the Tiverton Day Case Unit. The successful candidate will plan and manage the implementation of individual care programmes for patients as part of the team within the Day Surgery Unit with the flexibility to support the other Day Surgery Units if required.

The successful applicant will be valuable in delivering high quality care in a professional and friendly environment.

This post requires enthusiasm, motivation, excellent communication skills and a commitment to work flexibly within a multidisciplinary team. It will also allow a great work‑life balance as there are no unsociable hours including weekends, bank holidays or nights. If you are a good communicator, have excellent interpersonal skills, are hard working and would like to make a real difference within this service, we would like to hear from you.

Please note Experience in Scrub is essential.

Working Pattern: Monday-Friday 8-6. Please note that this role is for 19 hours only, two 8-6 shifts a week.
