Year 6 Teacher Role:
Full-time Year 6 class teacher starting September 2025
Deliver the full KS2 curriculum, with a focus on preparing pupils for SATs and the transition to secondary school
Plan engaging and challenging lessons alongside a collaborative year group team
Monitor progress effectively to ensure every child achieves their best
Build positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
Play an active part in the wider life of the school, including clubs, trips, and enrichment opportunities
Year 6 Teacher Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (PGCE or equivalent)
Experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2 (ideally Year 6)
Strong subject knowledge and excellent behaviour management skills
A solid understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and assessment requirements
Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
A reflective practitioner who is eager to grow and contribute to school life
