*Role Outline*
As a Business Analyst at Bramblecrest you will drive the development of the company’s reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision-making capabilities. This role will champion the use of tools such as Power BI, advanced analytics, and AI to support the company’s growth ambitions. Working closely with colleagues and stakeholders across all departments, the Business Analyst will challenge existing KPI frameworks, enhance business performance visibility, and deliver high-quality insights that drive strategic and operational improvements.
*Key Responsibilities:*
*Performance & KPI Management*
* Assist departments in refining KPIs to ensure they drive meaningful business performance.
* Analyse trends, highlight risks, and identify opportunities to improve results.
* Deliver clear performance scorecards and dashboards for informed decision‑making.
*Reporting & Data Visualisation*
* Build and maintain Power BI dashboards across the business.
* Develop reports & dashboards within our ERP (Acumatica) to drive efficiencies.
*Commercial & Financial Insight*
* Produce profitability, margin, and cost analysis to support commercial decision‑making.
* Deliver forecasting, scenario modelling, and variance analysis.
*Process Improvement & Automation*
* Identify operational inefficiencies and implement streamlined, data-driven processes.
* Lead automation initiatives that reduce manual workload and improve efficiency.
*AI, Innovation & Continuous Improvement*
* Recommend and implement AI-driven solutions to enhance productivity.
* Explore emerging technologies and scale successful innovations across the business.
*Experience and Skills Required: *
Technical & Analytical
* Experience in a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar analytical role.
* Strong Power BI skills (data modelling, DAX, dashboard development).
* Advanced Excel proficiency.
* Understanding of databases and data structures.
* Experience with financial/commercial analysis.
* Confidence with AI tools and automation technologies.
Communication & Collaboration
* Ability to communicate complex data in a simple, actionable way.
* Confident presenter with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
* Strong written communication abilities.
