Street Works Supervisor - Hertford
Immediate Start
We are currently looking for an experienced Street Works Supervisor to start immediately on a long-term project in Hertford.
This role is ideal for a hands‑on supervisor with strong experience in street works and groundworks, who is confident leading a small gang while also working alongside the team on site.
About the role
You will be responsible for:
* Supervising a gang of 3-4 operatives on site
* Ensuring works are carried out safely and efficiently
* Working alongside the team and assisting with daily site duties
* Coordinating street works and maintaining site organisation
* Monitoring health & safety procedures at all times
* Liaising with site management and other contractors
* Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and on schedule
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Street Works Supervisor
* Valid NRSWA Street Works Supervisor Card
* SSSTS or SMSTS preferred
* CSCS Card
* Strong knowledge of street works and groundworks
* Ability to lead a team while remaining hands‑on
* Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
* Full PPE
