Pay & Hours: £13.70 per hour 33 hours per week Days shifts available Working to a rota covering 7 days per week (every other weekend) Shift pattern: 7am - 7pm The Role: By becoming a Care Worker, you will support our services users to maintain their independence by assisting with everyday tasks and activities, in line with their individual needs. Such as; Reporting any safeguarding concerns Promote independence of our residents at all times to improve their quality of life Personal care (washing, dressing, oral hygiene) Observe and record clients' physical and emotional well-being reporting any changes Assist with meals and drinks to support our resident's overall nutrition Contribute and support during activities Maintain and develop professional relations with families Completing all relevant paperwork in a timely manner Assist with mobility and transferring safely e.g. from bed to chair. Additional Information: Overton House is a specialist dementia care home accommodating up to 40 residents, nestled in the vibrant town of Cottingham in West Hull. Our home features a variety of amenities designed to enhance the living experience, including a kitchen for residents and their families to enjoy, a hair salon, and a dedicated Activities Coordinator. Residents can also take pleasure in our three beautiful gardens, where they can grow vegetables and flowers.
