Role overview:
You will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining pipes, fixtures and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal in residential, commercial and industrial buildings.
Duties & responsibilities
1. Review building plans and specifications to determine the layout for plumbing and related materials.
2. Select the type and size of pipe required.
3. Locate and mark positions for connections and fixtures.
4. Install supports and hangers for pipe, fixtures and equipment.
5. Assemble and install valves and fittings.
6. Install, repair and maintain water treatment equipment, piping and controls sinks, tubs and toilets.
7. Test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks.
