Our clients are seeking experienced and passionate Registered Managersto lead a Residential Children’s Care setting during an exciting period of growth and expansion. If you are dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of children and young people and have a strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily management of the residential children’s care home, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and positive environment.
* Maintain compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding requirements, striving for excellence in all areas.
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of care professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
* Ensure care plans are person-centred and meet the individual needs of children and young people.
* Manage budgets, rotas, and resources effectively to support the smooth running of the home.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including families, local authorities, and other professionals.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience as a Registered Manager or in a similar leadership role within children’s residential care.
* Strong knowledge of Ofsted standards, inspections, and safeguarding practices.
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Children and Young People)or equivalent qualification (essential).
* Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
* Passionate about improving the lives of children and young people and committed to achieving the best outcomes.
