Senior Dental Nurse-North West-Thames Valley Time for Teeth are looking for one of our experienced dental nurses to step up into a Senior Dental Nurse role (SDN). We are inviting our internal dental nurses to apply prior to advertising externally. The sites we are looking for an SDN for will be all sites located within Thames Valley, you will not need to work at the sites but must be happy to travel to the sites if they are sites you don't usually work at on at least a monthly basis. The Role Continuing in your role with Time for Teeth you will be performing all your usual dental nursing duties along with taking on the responsibility of becoming the SDN for the sites specified. You will assist in the daily operational and clinical management of the service provision across your sites with your main goal being to ensure the clinics you lead on are compliant. You will be given allocated time to complete your SDN duties but you will need to also be capable of managing your time effectively. You will also support the area manager and be a key point of contact for the staff at the sites appointed. Primary Objectives Support and assist in the day-to-day management of the clinic including deputising as required for the area manager and cross covering other Senior Dental Nurses. Ensure quality service outcomes through delivering high standards of dental care, in line with national standards. Ensure that the clinics you are responsible for are CQC compliant. Key Responsibilities P rovide chair side assistance to dentists and dental therapists. Support with the administrative duties across the area. Ensuring compliance of all allocated clinics and completing compliance reports. Provide dental nursing cover at all sites across the area. Hold a dual CQC registration with the area manager. Support the area manager with completing any data reports. Support new team members via the onboarding and induction process alongside the clinical lead and area manager Deputise as required for the area manager.
