We are looking to recruit a Management Accountant who will take ownership of the accounting, reporting, and compliance for our newly formed Construction Services division, which encompasses our established construction business McGoff Construction Limited, Panacea Building Services Limited and McGoff Group Facilities Services Limited. The successful candidate will manage the accounting responsibilities for these companies from trial balance to full management and statutory accounts preparation, reporting in to the Division's Financial Controller and ultimately the Managing Director.
Role Responsibilities
* Accurate and timely management reporting
* Coordination of the reconciliation of bank accounts, nominal ledger, supplier statements, supplier and customer accounts
* VAT Return Submissions
* Production of management accounts in line with timetable
* Production of draft statutory accounts and management of annual audits
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years' experience in preparing management accounts or accounts beyond trial balance
* Strong IT Skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office programs especially Excel
* Excellent attention to detail
* Good communication skills
* Problem solving skills
* Ability to work under own initiative
* Strong organisational skills and timekeeping
* Ability to build good relationships with external and internal stakeholders
* Construction industry experience required
