Our success is through Our People! We are seeking an experienced and credible Head of Human Resources to join our College Management Team and lead the operational delivery of our People Strategy. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will provide operational leadership across employee relations, pay and reward, safeguarding compliance, workforce change and people management capability. You will translate strategic priorities into consistent, lawful and high quality HR practice, while providing assurance, insight and professional advice to leaders and managers. This is a hands on role, managing a professional HR team and working closely with managers across the College to support effective people management, manage risk and promote a positive employee experience. You will be an experienced HR professional with strong employee relations expertise, sound knowledge of UK employment law and the confidence to advise and influence at senior level. Experience in Further Education or a similarly complex public‑sector environment would be helpful, alongside the adaptability and judgement to work effectively in a values‑led, regulated and highly collaborative setting. A CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience) is required.
