About The Role
Please note: This role is full time 44hrs per week on Nights working 8pm - 8am on a seven day rota.
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your responsibilities include planning and delivering care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You will build relationships with residents and their families to ensure personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and influence your team positively. Whether demonstrating how to use a walking frame, assisting at mealtimes, or communicating with families, kindness is paramount.
You will support the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing physical and mental stimulation through social activities, as well as administering medication. Maintaining accurate records and fostering strong team relationships are also key duties.
Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent, with experience in person-centered care planning and caring for people with dementia. Your positive energy, ability to communicate considerately, good record-keeping, and time management are essential.
