National Sales Manager: Critical Care

£70,000 Basic plus £20,000 Bonus plus Car or Car allowance
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic National Sales Manager to lead and inspire a team of 7 Account Managers across the UK.
This role is pivotal in driving sales performance, market share growth, and customer engagement across our product portfolios.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing national sales strategies, coaching and mentoring the sales team, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure commercial success.
Location:
Hybrid – mostly field based with expectation to visit Head Office (East Midlands) 1-2 times per month.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management
* Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Account Managers.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and set clear KPIs and objectives.
* Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Sales Strategy & Execution
* Develop and implement national sales strategies aligned with business goals.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategy.
* Drive revenue growth and ensure achievement of sales targets.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, KOLs, and stakeholders.
* Support Account Managers in high-level negotiations and strategic accounts.
* Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Work closely with Marketing, Technical Service, Purchasing and Quality to align product launches, campaigns, and inventory planning.
* Provide market feedback to inform product development and positioning.
Reporting & Forecasting
* Deliver accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior leadership.
* Analyse sales data to identify opportunities and risks.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field.
* Proven experience in sales leadership within the healthcare industry.
* Demonstrated success in managing and developing sales teams.
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and CRM systems.
* Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel nationally
