A fantastic opportunity is now open for aSenior Recruitment Assistant to become a key part of our forward-thinking Recruitment Team.

In this role, you will support the full recruitment life cycle - from advertising vacant posts, supporting services to arrange interviews, sending offer letters and working with successful applicants to complete pre-employment checks. You will also provide advice and guidance to recruiting managers, ensuring they follow best practice and make effective use of our recruitment systems.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a genuine interest in recruitment and selection. This role is also well-suited to someone looking to begin a career in Human Resources, offering valuable experience and development opportunities.

The successful candidate will be proactive, organised and confident working as part of an established team in a fast-paced environment.

This role will be primarily office-based, with occasional opportunities to work from home.


Main duties of the job

* To work as a member of the Human Resources Recruitment Team in the provision of an effective, high quality, recruitment service for the Trust.
* Ensuring all administrative duties are undertaken in a timely manner
* Provide support to colleagues and senior members of the HumanResources Recruitment Team in the establishment of processes and systems of within recruitment services.
* To be the first point of contact for the recruitment team, as such, be expected to maintain high standards of customer service, courtesy, discretion and confidentiality at all times
* To support the implementation and maintenance of recruitmentmanagement information systems.
* To support the organisation and represent the Trust at Careers Fairs, Recruitment Events and Recruitment Training

Person Specification


Qualifications & Knowlegde

* Qualified to NVQ level 3 or equivalent
* Understanding of NHS Employment Check Standards
* Knowledge of a range of work procedures and practices


Skills and Competencies

* Able to demonstrate good inter-personal communication skills
* Able to plan and prioritise effectively
* Excellent customer service including telephone manner and in person.


Experience

* Experience of working with the general public
* Experience of effective use of a range of Microsoft packages including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, databases, electronic diaries
* Experience of working in a role undertaking the administration of recruitment & selection activities
* Experience of providing advice/information to staff and managers
* Experience of practice of recruitment & selection in an NHS setting with experience of NHS jobs, ESR and TRAC.
