Test Engineer (Manual and Automated) – Edinburgh or Glasgow (Hybrid) – £34,000 + 10% Bonus & More
Base pay range: Up to £34,000 + 10% bonus. Work 2 days per week in either Central Glasgow or Central Edinburgh, with the remaining days remote. We offer generous holidays, birthday off, private healthcare, supported training and career progression.
What you’ll be doing:
* 50% manual testing and 50% automated testing across Functional/Regression/Integration/System/Performance Testing
* Working with core testing frameworks
* Contributing to the design and execution of full end-to-end test suites
* Collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery
* Supporting continuous improvement of testing processes, frameworks and practices
What we’re looking for:
* Solid understanding of both manual and automated testing principles
* Skills with Playwright or similar frameworks such as Cypress or Selenium
* JS or Typescript skills for automation
* Ability to plan, execute, and report on testing across the full software lifecycle
* Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
* Bonus: Any exposure to AI Testing/API Testing/Web App Testing and/or Performance Testing would be a great advantage
