Job Description
1. Standard working pattern Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday
2. Working on a prestigious contract delivering Company and Third Party products to specified locations and in accordance with the delivery schedule
3. Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork
4. Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including all aspects of health, safety and hygiene
5. Maintain a good working knowledge of operations within the transport department
6. Effectively manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive
7. Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times
8. Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure
9. Ensure proof of deliveries (PODs) are signed and returned to the Transport Office after delivery
10. Achieve and succeed fuel efficiency targets set by the business
11. Any other duties as reasonably required
Qualifications
12. Possession of LGV Class 1 Licence
13. Current CPC
14. Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers’ hours.
15. Excellent communication skills
16. Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
17. Effectively prioritise workload in order to meet set deadlines.
