Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrator/ Accounts Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the company. This position is perfect for individuals who are eager to develop their skills and contribute to the overall efficiency of our processes. We are open to considering this role either as part time or full time for the right candidate.
Duties
* General administrator tasks such as answer phones and emails in a professional manner.
* Assist in creating & processing invoices for customers, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch of goods & processing of invoices.
* Maintain financial records and documentation in compliance with company policies.
* Utilise accounting software Xero to manage financial transactions.
* Allocation of payments, ensuring accuracy in all financial dealings.
* Answer calls and emails to enquiries with a customer centred approac.
* Collaborate with team members to improve processes and reporting methods.
* General other day-to-day administrative tasks such as raising job sheets for production.
Skills
* Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero is highly desirable.
* Good computer skills.
* General understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
* Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
