Role Overview
As a Health Care Assistant, you will assist clients with daily living activities, implement care plans, and provide companionship. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, dignity, and wellbeing of those in your care.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
* Support implementation of individual care plans
* Monitor and record health information, reporting changes to office staff
* Provide companionship and emotional support
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation in clients’ homes
* Drive clients to appointments or social activities
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to maintain high standards of care
Required Skills and Experience
* Proficiency in English with strong communication skills
* Valid UK driving licence (required for transporting clients)
* Compassionate, reliable, and respectful attitude
* Strong interpersonal skills
* 1 year of care experience (preferred)
* Familiarity with care plans and documentation
* Basic IT skills for record keeping
