About the Role
As a Casual Driver, you will:
1. Safely unload refrigerated vehicles, typically handling up to three deliveries per day, ensuring goods are managed with care and efficiency.
2. Operate palletised handling equipment, such as pump trucks, or perform trailer swaps depending on the shift schedule, maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.
3. Drive a modern, well-maintained fleetof Scania and Volvo vehicles, all under 6 months old ensuring reliability and comfort on the road.
4. Deliver goods to depots across the Southwest and Midlands, adhering to planned schedules and route requirements.
5. Provide outstanding customer service, engaging professionally with clients both in person and over the phone to represent the company positively.
6. Maintain clear and consistent communicationwith the transport team, offering real-time updates to support smooth operations and manage customer expectations.
