Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) team members are seasoned professionals with in-depth knowledge of the healthcare value chain, as well as breadth of experience across multiple disciplines. They partner with hospital management teams and payers to drive complex transformational change, implement innovative growth strategies, streamline patient-focused care pathways, and optimize operations. This individual contributor role will work closely with on-site Materials Management Analysts (MMA), Product and Supplier Management (PSM), vendors, and Back Office. Success will be measured by response times, issue resolution rates, data accuracy, and quality of stakeholder support. The role reports to the IHS UK Customer Care Team Lead. This hybrid role, based in the UK, requires working from home and the Watford office 2 days per week and occasional travel to UK hospital locations on ad-hoc basis for training and root cause reviews.
Responsibilities
* Support on-site teams with supply chain operations, monitoring back orders, coordinating delivery issue resolutions, and ensuring timely product availability.
* Provide regular updates on order status, delivery schedules, and cycle count monitoring, escalating non-compliance or significant variances.
* Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across processes.
* Manage vendor communications and purchase order administration, resolving PO discrepancies, updating Ingenica with freight and cost details, and ensuring urgent deliveries are executed.
* Oversee returns processes by coordinating with MMAs, couriers, and vendors, ensuring proper documentation and completion.
* Maintain consigned stock accuracy through scheduled vendor counts and resolution of discrepancies with MMAs and vendors.
* Provide first‑line operational support, triaging queries, maintaining data hygiene, and resolving escalations related to delivery, billing, or aged orders.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in customer service or supply chain coordination.
* Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
* Experience in healthcare, medical device, or hospital supply chain environment is advantageous.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
* Proven track record of managing vendor relationships and resolving operational issues.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise professionally with internal teams and external vendors.
