HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver - PM Shift (Coventry, Ryton)
Pay Rate: £18.50 - £25.00 per hour + holiday pay
Shifts: Monday - Friday | Start times from 19:00 onwards
The Role
We're looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver to join our professional team in Coventry (Ryton). This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers seeking consistent, well-paid work with excellent long-term prospects.
As an HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver, you'll be responsible for moving trailers safely within the yard using a TUG, maintaining efficient site operations, and ensuring all movements are completed safely and on time. The role may also involve short-distance movements between nearby depots (around 2 miles) and occasional Class 1 (C+E) driving.
What You'll Need
* Valid C+E Licence, CPC Card, and Digi Tacho
* Minimum 12 months' Class 1 (C+E) driving experience
* Previous shunting experience using a TUG
* A reliable, safety-focused, and professional attitude
