About the Role
Kingspan Water & Safe Storage, part of the global Kingspan Group, is a market leader in sustainable water and environmental solutions. We are now seeking an Area Sales Manager to manage and grow sales across a defined territory in Ireland.
This is a field-based role where you will take full ownership of customer relationships and sales performance, working closely with merchants, installers, specifiers, contractors, and homeowners. You will play a key role in delivering premium products with premium customer service, aligned to Kingspan's high ethical and sustainability standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and grow sales of Kingspan Water & Safe Storage products across existing merchants and new customers
* Develop strong relationships with national and independent merchants and their branch networks
* Increase product specification and sales through installers, contractors, and specifiers
* Deliver on-site technical support and work closely with internal technical sales teams
* Develop and execute account-specific business development plans
* Achieve and exceed territory sales and profit targets
* Manage specified accounts and generate quotations via CRM systems
* Prepare and present regular performance reports and territory reviews
* Support and actively participate in exhibitions, CPDs, and marketing initiatives
* Resolve customer technical and service issues in partnership with internal teams
* Act as a brand ambassador, representing Kingspan with professionalism and integrity
* Contribute positively to the wider commercial team and strategic development of the business
About You
Essential Experience & Skills:
* Proven experience in a similar field-based sales role
* Strong track record of achieving sales targets
* Experience within wastewater, plumbing & heating, or a related construction sector
* Strong technical understanding of products and applications
* Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
* Confident presenter with the ability to engage customers and senior managers
Qualifications:
* GCSE-level education or equivalent
* Management or professional sales training (desirable)
