Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Event Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for handmade jewellery and a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service. This position requires strong communication, organisational, and time management skills to ensure the smooth running of our market stalls and events.
Responsibilities
* Assist with setting up and packing down the market stall
* Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge
* Help maintain an organised and visually appealing stall
* Handle cash and card transactions
* Assist with stock management and inventory tracking
* Ensure a smooth, efficient operation throughout the day.
Requirements
* Friendly, approachable, and confident with customers
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Demonstrated time management abilities to meet deadlines effectively
* Basic maths skills for processing transactions and managing cash registers
* Previous experience in event planning or customer service is advantageous
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules
* Passion for handmade jewellery and the Manimu brand
* A driving licence is required as there are various market locations
