A highly inclusive and nurturing SEN school in Wokingham is looking for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to support students aged 3-19 with complex needs. Pupils may have Autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, learning disabilities, and/or SEMH needs.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work 1:1 or in small groups, helping students with communication, sensory regulation, learning tasks, and social development. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about inclusive education and is considering a future in SEN teaching, therapy, or educational psychology.
Key Details:
* Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
* Location: Wokingham
* Start Date: ASAP
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
* Salary: £89-£100 per day
* Ideal for: Psychology, Education, SEN, or Health & Social Care Graduates
Your role will include:
* Supporting students with additional needs in and out of the classroom
* Implementing individual support strategies and sensory routines
* Working closely with teachers, therapists, and SEN staff
* Encouraging independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing
