Qualified Social Worker - Adults Assessment
Location: Merseyside
Pay rate: £36 per hour
We are looking for experienced and passionate Social Workers to join the Adults Assessment Team. You should have 2-3 years’ experience within Adults Social Care. You will ensure best practice, focus on solving problems early, and meet the needs of vulnerable adults to reduce harm. The team collaborates with health professionals, therapies, external providers, and families. Join a supportive team dedicated to providing person-centered, safe, and effective social care services.
In this role, you will support delivery of social care legislation, conduct assessments, and make decisions on interventions. Using your social work expertise and communication skills, you will build relationships with service users and agencies to meet needs. Your goal is to achieve positive outcomes for adults, supporting their well-being and independence, while protecting the vulnerable and ensuring efficiency.
Ideal candidate will be:
* Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
* Experienced with Adults and families, including vulnerable groups
* Creative, flexible, and forward-thinking
* Knowledgeable of Child Protection legislation and issues
* Committed to continuous improvement
* Excellent mediator and negotiator
* Skilled in building relationships with adults and families
* Dedicated to high-quality service
* Experienced in multi-disciplinary, interagency work
* 4+ years qualified
Responsibilities include:
* Assess risks, protection, and social care needs
* Manage caseloads
* Use communication skills to achieve outcomes
* Create care plans respecting diversity and dignity
* Support and advise staff and students
