We now have an opportunity for a Senior Production Chef Apprentice Level 3 to join our team. Do you have a flair and passion for food? Would you love to take your culinary talent further whilst also developing your supervisory and people management skills?
As a Level 3 Apprentice you will supervise the Kitchen Team with responsibility for producing the dishes and menus in our award-winning restaurant. You'll have accountability for the day-to-day running of the kitchen service, producing, monitoring and maintaining consistent food standards, legislative requirements and quality across all areas and during all stages of production and supply.
We will equip you with the practical skills and knowledge you’ll need to succeed as a Supervisor in the fast-paced world of professional cooking.
We are offering a 30-hour contact with flexible hours over a 7-day period (some late shifts may be required).
On successful completion of the course it will enable the candidate to apply for a full-time position within the company with a strong chance of permanent employment.

Entry requirements
Maths and English at Level 2 (GCSE Grade 4) is desirable however we can provide Functional Skills as part of your development plan.
Experience within Catering is required in order to make this next career step into a supervisory role. Candidate will have previous achievement of Level 2 production chef or a minimum of 12 months relevant industry experience.

You will be supported by an assessor throughout your apprenticeship.
As you progress through your apprenticeship your duties and responsibilities will alter as you develop the skills for a successful career in hospitality and catering.
Training will be a mix of face to face and online learning.
You will gain a Level 3 Senior Production Chef Apprenticeship Qualification.
Functional Skills in Maths and English if required.
Things to consider
Catering roles can be physically demanding with prolonged periods of time on your feet.This is a full time role which will require flexibility with hours over a 7 day period (some late shifts maybe required - please check transport links). Contracted hours will be 30 pw. Candidates must be 17+ due to licensing laws. Start as soon as possible.
