Role:
The Procurement Specialist role is an exciting opportunity to join an accomplished and established team at EOECPH. The successful candidate will lead specific sourcing programmes across the Estates and Digital Category area.
The successful candidate will use their specialist procurement knowledge to develop and deliver innovative services and frameworks for Estates and Digital areas, identifying opportunities for collaborative procurement.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be analytical with strong project and procurement management experience, have in-depth knowledge of procurement legislation and the entire procurement life-cycle and be able to manage large and complex stakeholder groups.
Duties will include;
1. Manage high value strategic sourcing projects which impact on stakeholder organisations service delivery and beyond
2. Proactively lead and manage programmes and develop collaborative relationship management regimes with NHS suppliers, ensuring maximum return on investment
3. Establish the future procurement requirements of stakeholder organisations and produces strategies and solutions to these
4. Provide advice and expertise in all aspects of procurement activity to stakeholder organisations. This advice and expertise can be in highly complex areas and involve detailed knowledge of areas such as UK Procurement Legislation
5. Gather and analyse comprehensive data to support portfolio and category analysis, produce reports and identify and manage risk throughout the project and procurement process

6. Open to individuals from either a Public or Private sector background
7. Experience of procurement systems, ideally Atamis
8. Ability and evidence of running significant and complex tendering processes
9. Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills, including knowledge of the market
