SEN Tutor Salary: £25 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored support and guidance to students with special educational needs (SEN) Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' academic and social skills Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary Collaborate with other educators and professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development Required Qualifications: Recognised teaching qualification Experience working with students with SEN Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN Knowledge and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to SEN Strong organisational and time management skills Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs Experience using assistive technology in teaching Working Conditions: Part-Time role, working flexible hours May require travel to different educational settings Opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
