We’re looking for a motivated, positive, and team-oriented physiotherapist to join our practice and enhance their musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy skills in a vibrant multi-sport environment.
This wide-ranging role offers exposure to athletes at every level—from participation through to international and Olympic competition—and provides a strong foundation for those looking to move into elite sport. In fact, four of our previous team members have progressed to clinical roles in professional and Olympic programmes.

Physiokinetic Ltd is a private physiotherapy practice based at the University of Birmingham’s world-class sports facilities. We’ve been a trusted partner of University of Birmingham Sport for over 18 years, working as part of the Performance Centre’s multi-disciplinary team.

What You’ll Be Doing
•Deliver physiotherapy services to a mixed caseload of athletes
and private MSK clients
•Contribute to running a twice-weekly Sports Injury Triage Clinic
for acute musculoskeletal injuries during term time (university
funded)
•Work collaboratively with S&C coaches and attend weekly MDT
meetings
•Contribute to match-day cover for the University Women’s First X
Hockey Team (Premier Division)
•Contribute to the ongoing clinical development and CPD culture
within the team

What You’ll Bring (Essential)
•CSP and HCPC registration
•Enhanced DBS clearance
•Minimum 3 years’ experience in MSK physiotherapy
•Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical reasoning skills
•Evidence of ongoing CPD and post-graduate development

Nice to Have (Desirable)
•Previous experience working in sport or with performance
athletes
•MSc or current enrolment in a relevant postgraduate programme
•ACPSEM membership (Silver/Gold award on CPD pathway)
•Advanced Pitch Side Sports Trauma Management certification
•Experience in private MSK practice
•Acupuncture qualification
