Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance Technician to support our finance operations on a 4-day workweek. The ideal candidate will handle daily accounting tasks, including processing invoices, maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end closing procedures. Strong communication skills, proficiency in accounting software, and an understanding of basic accounting principles are essential. Key Responsibilities
1. Working within a busy accounts and finance team
2. Bank / Digital Wallet reconciliations
3. Sales and purchase ledger duties
4. Processing supplier payments
5. Credit control duties
6. Completing all month-end duties
7. Dealing with invoice queries
8. Performing other ad hoc duties as required
Essential Qualifications & Experience
* At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
* An accounts qualification (e.g., MIATI or similar)
* Ability to prioritize workload
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent IT literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proactive, results-oriented, and passionate about the role

Salary: £35,000 pro-rata for a 4-day week.
