My Client based in Co Down require 2 Full-time Medical Receptionist/ Administrator's to join their team on a temporary basis with the view to becoming permanent. Main Duties/Responsibilities General reception duties - greeting patients in person and on telephone, making, cancelling appointments Providing information regarding practice services Maintaining and updating files both computerised and manual. Liaising with pharmacist, nursing homes where required to provide repeat prescriptions when authorised Coordinating patient appointments, hospital letters, prescription requests and information with the treatment room nurses and other staff members Typing letters, memos referrals, and confidential reports. Sorting and distribution of post Collect and collate data as and when required. Maintaining a tidy reception desk and public areas Essential Criteria 5 GCSE's level including English & Maths (Grade A-C) Previous experience in a similar role to include telephone and face to face contact Fully computer literate Evidence of working in a team & on own initiative Excellent communication & organisational skills Flexibility to cover sickness & holidays Must have ability to work across 2 sites Desirable Criteria Experience in a medical environment (working within a GP surgery advantageous) although full training will be given 37.5 hours per week:- Mon - Fri hours to be worked within the Practice opening times of 8.30am - 6pm Salary £12.90 per hour On-site parking To apply for the above vacancy please forward your CV via the link below or contact our office
