Marketing and Project Support Officer : North East Wales Multicultural Hub
About the Role
Temporary until 31/03/2030
14.8 hours per week
We’re looking for an organised and community‑focused Marketing and Project Support Officer to help deliver the weekly activities of the Northeast Wales Multicultural Hub. Working as part of the Tŷ Pawb team and alongside the Regional Community Cohesion Team, you’ll play an important role in supporting sessions, gathering monitoring information, and helping to promote the Hub’s work.
In this role, you’ll assist with the smooth running of weekly Hub sessions, help prepare activities, collect feedback from participants, and support safeguarding processes. You’ll also spend part of your time creating clear, accessible promotional materials that help share the Hub’s events and opportunities with the wider community.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working with people, is confident using digital tools, and can balance a varied workload. If you’re proactive, supportive, and comfortable communicating with children, families, and adults from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, you’ll thrive here.
Your work will make a real difference by helping the Hub provide a safe, welcoming space for multicultural communities across Wrexham and the wider region. You’ll be part of a collaborative project funded by the National Lottery, contributing to positive outcomes and stronger community cohesion.
The Council welcomes applications from suitably qualified candidates regardless of race, gender, disability, sexuality, religious belief or age.
The Council is committed to developing its bilingual workforce and welcomes applications from candidates who demonstrate their capability to work in both English and Welsh. Applications submitted in Welsh will not be treated less favourably than an application submitted in English.
