Job details Doris & MacMahon Solicitors are looking for a proactive and highly organised Legal Secretary to join their team initially as a maternity cover contract (12 months), with the role potentially becoming permanent for the right candidate. This is a full time position. Responsible For Providing full secretarial, PA and administrative support to a team of solicitors Photocopying and scanning documents and managing incoming post Audio and copy typing of legal documentation to a high standard – around 50% of your working time will be spent typing Preparing and formatting correspondence and legal documents Maintaining accurate documentation and filing systems File opening/closing Dealing with emails/correspondence, calls and enquiries Diary management Criteria Legal secretarial or PA experience preferred but not essential Excellent IT skills to include Microsoft Word and Outlook Good organisational skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, prioritise a high-volume workload and work to deadlines Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to changing requirements and see opportunities for improvement Flexible ‘can do’ approach with the ability to work proactively, use own initiative and offer solutions Team- focus with a flexible and collaborative approach to working with others, but also able to work alone Please submit your CV to Katherine Holland KH@DMACM.COM Closing date: 14/11/2025.
