Your new role
As Finance Manager, you’ll be responsible for shaping the financial performance of major projects and frameworks. You’ll oversee planning, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring financial controls andernance are consistently applied. Your role will involve:
1. Partnering with operational teams to drive profitability and manage cash flow
2. Leading month‑end processes, producing management accounts, and delivering variance analysis
3. Providingmercial insight and analysis to support strategic decisions
4. Supporting bid teams with financial modelling and risk assessment for new opportunities
5. Championing continuous improvement in reporting and financial processes
6. Managing a small finance team, helping them develop and ensuring strong collaboration across the business
What you'll need to succeed
7. Fully qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA
8. Experience in contract accounting and exposure to the construction, infrastructure, or property sectors — though this is not essential.
9. Strongmercial finance background with the ability to provide insight and challenge
10. Excellentmunication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders
