Job Description:
The role of the Merchant Services Relationship Manager involves managing and nurturing relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met, and identifying opportunities for growth. You'll be a trusted advisor, developing a deep understanding of the business area and enhancing client satisfaction through strategic relationship management. The position reports to the EMEA Sales Leaders. The role will be based in London, Dublin, or Bournemouth.
Job Summary
As a Merchant Services Relationship Manager within the EMEA Payments Merchant Services team, you will be responsible for managing relationships with key clients, working closely with the Global Payments Sales team and other Global Banking Product verticals to deliver exceptional client service and strengthen client relationships.
Job Responsibilities
1. Develop and execute a relationship strategy, fostering productive relationships with clients regionally and globally. Collaborate with HQ or global Relationship Managers and key client contacts within Morgan, such as Bankers, Treasury Services, and Trade representatives, to support clients globally and engage internal stakeholders.
2. Lead strategic client engagements, providing guidance and support to junior Relationship Managers, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
3. Strengthen client relations by cultivating strong relationships, addressing client matters, and communicating insights and updates effectively.
4. Act as a strategic consultant for clients, identifying needs and leveraging opportunities to upsell and cross-sell Merchant Services EMEA products. Provide problem-solving, data analytics, and advisory services to optimize the utilization of Morgan Merchant Services in EMEA.
5. Deliver insights into the merchant acquiring payment landscape in EMEA, collaborating with clients to build business cases and guide decisions.
6. Contribute to team environment by offering feedback, participating in process improvements, and sharing best practices.
7. Enhance customer retention and demonstrate the value of Merchant Services and Payments through every client interaction.
8. Maintain records of client interactions, provide reporting and dashboards, conduct satisfaction surveys, and recommend strategies for improvement.
9. Understand industry and client segment challenges, partnering internally to develop and deliver complex products and solutions.
10. Analyze revenue and pipeline data to produce reports for senior management, aiding decision-making.

* Experience in payment processing and merchant acquisition in the EMEA region.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities
* Familiarity with the bankcard industry is advantageous.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant fields; relevant work experience may substitute for a degree.
