Overview

CfSD Clinical Lead - Symptomatic Breast role at NHS Scotland. This national Clinical Lead supports the Centre for Sustainable Delivery’s Symptomatic Breast Sub-Speciality Delivery Group.

The role provides professional expertise on the development, design and delivery of the work of the CfSD in relation to the Symptomatic Breast Sub-Speciality Delivery Group.


Responsibilities

* Provide professional expertise on the development, design and delivery of CfSD work for the Symptomatic Breast Sub-Speciality Delivery Group.
* Work in partnership with the Project Manager, National Associate Directors and Associate Clinical Directors within the Centre for Sustainability to build on current work. This includes developing Once for Scotland approaches within NHS Scotland by providing strategic leadership and support for clinical teams to test innovative ways of working and facilitate pathway redesign opportunities that can be shared and implemented at scale across Scotland.
* Support redesign underpinned by high quality, credible and internationally respected clinical advice to inform practice consistent with high professional standards and with the Realistic Medicine approach.
* Act authoritatively as a change agent with the ability to engage executive and senior managers across NHS Scotland, demonstrating the highest professional standards.
