The Role: We are recruiting a Senior Project Manager to join our team in Kemble to deliver large-scale, complex technical transformation programmes for customers, including multi-site international equipment refreshes, audits, infrastructure updates, managed and professional services. This role will take ownership of strategic projects, ensuring they are scoped, planned, agreed and executed in line with customer expectations, contractual obligations and agreed timelines. This role will also drive continuous improvement, mentor project teams and contribute to shaping the company’s delivery strategy. What You’ll Be Doing: Own and lead the delivery of high-value, complex transformation programmes, ensuring alignment with customer strategic objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Act as the senior point of escalation for customers and internal teams, providing leadership and resolution for critical issues. Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives, influencing decisions and ensuring proactive communication throughout the programme lifecycle. Translate complex customer business needs into actionable strategies, detailed plans, and successful delivery outcomes. Develop and manage programme-level plans, including scope, schedule, resource allocation, risks, dependencies, governance, and escalations. Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including third-party vendors, ensuring collaboration and accountability for delivery objectives. Monitor programme performance against KPIs and produce executive-level reporting for internal and external stakeholders. Identify and manage risks at a strategic level, implementing robust mitigation strategies to safeguard delivery success. Drive change management and adoption strategies to ensure long-term success of transformation initiatives. Manage customer change requests and scope variations through formal governance and change control processes. Champion continuous improvement of delivery methodologies, governance frameworks, and customer engagement practices. Ensure compliance with the Company ISO Business Management system, policies, and procedures at all times. Mentor and support Project Managers, contributing to capability development and best practice sharing across the delivery team. Contribute to and lead internal business transformation initiatives where required. What We’re Looking For: Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with proven ability to engage and influence executive-level decision makers. Strategic thinker with strong leadership and proactive problem-solving capabilities. Extensive experience delivering and managing complex, multi-workstream programmes for business-critical customers, ideally within VAR, MSP, or SI technology environments. Particularly those delivering information infrastructure and cyber solutions. Demonstrable success in managing multi-site and international rollouts, with ability to navigate cultural and logistical challenges. Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required. Most projects are UK-focused, with larger international programmes delivered remotely from the UK, supported by local resources. Advanced project and programme management expertise, with certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, MSP, or Agile/Scrum, within an ITIL (v4) framework. Ability to operate under pressure, manage competing priorities, and deliver results in dynamic environments. Deep understanding of complex information infrastructure (networking, compute, storage, communications, identity, and security) and associated delivery challenges.
