The Nursery Teacher role — what you will do
As Nursery Teacher, you will create stimulating indoor and outdoor environments that promote language, physical development and early numeracy. The Nursery Teacher will lead high-quality interactions, support language-rich routines and implement observational assessment. The Nursery Teacher will liaise with families to support home–school continuity and will contribute to transition work into Reception centred on the January 2026 start timeframe. The Nursery Teacher role is Full-Time and offers generous planning time and CPD to deepen practice from the January 2026 start.
Nursery Teacher — candidate attributes
We are seeking a pedagogical Nursery Teacher with QTS/EYTS or equivalent, strong early-years knowledge and excellent communication skills. The Nursery Teacher should be reflective, organised and curious about effective early learning approaches. The Nursery Teacher will be expected to attend induction sessions scheduled in the run-up to the January 2026 start and to be fully engaged in school professional learning after the January 2026 start as a Full-Time Nursery Teacher.
