We are currently seeking an ambitious, driven, and hard-working Internal Sales Advisor to join our Internal Sales Team.
Do you enjoy winning new business and building long-standing relationships with customers? Are you committed to being part of a fast-paced sales environment? Do you enjoy working in a team environment? If so, then you could be the right candidate for this role.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a telephone sales environment handling outbound calls, ideally to both known and new contacts. Knowledge and/or experience of Customer Service principles and practices is essential for this position, as is an excellent telephone manner. Experience in sales in any form—face-to-face, online, account management—is also welcomed, bringing with it a knowledge of sales techniques, closing deals, and achieving sales targets.
Day to day, you will manage all necessary sales administration as part of the Internal Sales team, including keeping the customer database accurate and up to date by recording information gathered from qualifying calls such as business type, spending patterns, and other relevant details.
As an Internal Sales Advisor, along with the rest of the team, you will be expected to identify and grow your account base through providing customer education, identifying upselling opportunities, and feeding these leads where appropriate to our Business Development Managers.
With a passion for sales and achieving targets, you will assist in hunting for new business and expanding existing accounts by maintaining regular contact, following up on promotions, supporting marketing efforts, and re-engaging fading accounts. You will also be accustomed to working in a KPI-oriented environment and be dedicated to achieving your own and your team’s targets.
An ability to confidently create and build value in customer conversations is essential, as is escalating priority issues, concerns, or opportunities to the Internal Sales Supervisor.
This role benefits from our hybrid working policy, which requires a minimum of three days working at our offices in Willand and up to two days working from home. During training, on-site presence is mandatory.
