We're expanding our Consulting capability, and this role will lead the way in how we deliver change across both our NHS clients and NHS SBS. Our Change Consulting team supports leaders across the NHS, and our own internal BPO implementations, to ensure service, process and people‑related changes land effectively and deliver the full benefits of transformation. From major Finance & Accounting transitions to Payroll, HR and wider corporate service change, the team plays a critical role in making improvements real, sustainable and measurable. We're now looking for a Head of Change Consulting to lead and grow this team. You'll shape our approach to change management, develop capability, drive sales activity, and oversee delivery across a diverse portfolio of transformation programmes. This is a chance to build your own team, evolve our methodologies, and influence how change is delivered across the NHS and NHS SBS. This role is hybrid variable working – you will be required to travel up to 2–3 days a week on average to our offices and client sites across the UK, your contractual location can be at any of our offices based in London, Manchester or Leeds, and the remaining days can be worked from home or at your contractual office.
Responsibilities
* Leading the Change Consulting function, shaping our approach to change management and ensuring consistent delivery standards across all NHS and internal transformation programmes.
* Overseeing the change elements of major service, process and people transformation projects, ensuring adoption, benefits realisation and strong stakeholder engagement.
* Designing and developing change management methodologies, frameworks and tools that support both NHS clients and internal NHS SBS BPO implementations.
* Working closely with senior stakeholders across the NHS and NHS SBS to understand change impacts, influence decision‑making and drive positive behavioural and cultural change.
* Leading consulting sales activity, supporting go‑to‑market plans and identifying opportunities to expand our change consulting footprint.
* Building and developing a high‑performing consulting team, fostering capability growth, continuous improvement and excellence in delivery.
Qualifications
* Extensive experience as a Management Consultant from a recognised firm, with a strong track record delivering change management work across the Public Sector and ideally the NHS.
* Proven ability to design, develop and lead Change Management value propositions, methodologies and leading practice.
* Demonstrable experience leading the change components of complex transformation programmes, ensuring adoption, benefits realisation and stakeholder alignment.
