Position Overview:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance & Refurbishment Project Co-ordinator to join a reputable organisation in the healthcare sector. This private company operates a number of care homes and is committed to providing the highest standards of care for its residents. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting maintenance and refurbishment activities, ensuring the homes are always compliant, safe, and homely.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide administrative support for all maintenance and refurbishment activities across the care homes.
2. Maintain and update the Maintenance Dashboard daily, ensuring all maintenance issues are recorded and dealt with promptly.
3. Ensure all maintenance checks are completed on time by liaising with in-house teams and external contractors.
4. Co-ordinate and project manage refurbishment projects to ensure timely completion, using Gantt charts to monitor progress.
5. Manage maintenance and refurbishment budgets, keeping costs within allocated limits and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
6. Work closely with the Finance & Commercial Support Manager to ensure that projects represent value for money.
