<div><p><b>Job Title:</b> Allocations & Lettings Officer</p><p><b>Salary:</b>£26,500 - £29,000</p><p><b>Contract:</b> Permanent</p><p><b>Location:</b> Staffordshire Moorlands & Chester</p><p><b>Weekly Hours:</b> 35</p><h3>Job Overview</h3><p>This role provides a high‑quality letting service to new and existing customers, guiding them through the application process and supporting them when ending their tenancy. You will work primarily from home and serve as the first point of contact for applicants.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Act as the first point of contact for customers applying for a new home.</li><li>Guide new customers through the application process, providing regular updates to viewing, sign‑up, and handover of keys.</li><li>Support existing customers in ending their tenancy, ensuring a smooth process from notice to handover to maintenance.</li><li>Manage the empty homes and lettings process, liaising with customers, local authority, external partners and internal teams.</li><li>Represent YHG and capture/respond to customer feedback, proactively minimising and resolving queries.</li><li>Attend meetings and training courses at the Head Office in Birchwood, Warrington when required.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications & Skills</h3><ul><li>Customer‑focused with a passion for delivering a quality service.</li><li>Excellent communication, organisational and ICT skills.</li><li>Flexible approach with ability to respond to urgent requests/queries.</li><li>Can‑do proactive attitude and strong problem‑solving skills.</li><li>Team player experience preferred.</li></ul><h3>Benefits</h3><ul><li>Competitive salary and 26 days annual leave (increasing with length of service) plus bank holidays.</li><li>Contributory pension with up to 8% employer match.</li><li>Advanced healthcare cash plan with GP access and wellbeing benefits.</li><li>Discount scheme covering cinema tickets, gym memberships and other retailers.</li></ul><h3>EEO Statement</h3><p>Your Housing Group values diversity and encourages applications from all communities.
