Salary: Craven College Harmonised Pay Scale points 3 – 4, £24, £24,747.08 per annum, pro rata to £20,111.98 – £20,463.93 per annum (38 working weeks, paid for 43 weeks)

Craven College offers full-time courses for 16–18-year-olds, apprenticeships, courses for young people with special educational needs, part-time courses and degree level courses with a mission statement of 'enriching lives through learning'. Tyro Training is our commercial training division which offers a wide range of training courses for both individuals and businesses in Skipton.
We continuously invest in our excellent, industry standard facilities with a new £1.6m purpose-built Animal Management Centre on our Aireville Campus followed in 2022 by the construction of new equestrian facilities including an international sized arena and outdoor warm up area.
We are currently seeking to employ a committed and motivated Catering Technician, to assist in the preparation of materials and ingredients for classes. To prepare and clean kitchens in readiness for classes and demonstrations. To sell food products in the Catering shop. To operate an efficient ordering system and liaison with catering team. The ideal candidate will identify the necessary food and sundry requirements, collate weekly food / sundry orders, and place orders with the appropriate suppliers. The ideal candidate will also assist and work in commercial kitchen and service area when required.
Essential requirements:
* Qualified to Level 2 (GCSE Grade A*-C or equivalent) in English and Maths (or willing to work towards completion within a specified time frame)
* To be honest, trustworthy and reliable;
* Have good personal hygiene;
* Ability to work with others as part of a team;
* Have basic food preparation skills;
