Bespak are looking for a Construction Project Manager. This is a permanent position for the Holmes Chapel site, CW4 8BE. The salary for this role is £74,000 - £87,400. The Construction Project Manager leads the safe, compliant delivery of construction and capital projects at the Holmes Chapel site. Acting as Client Representative, you’ll manage contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to UK regulatory, CDM, HSE, and GMP standards. This hands-on role combines project leadership with strong stakeholder management, working closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and HSE teams to deliver projects in a live environment with minimal disruption. You’ll play a key role in site expansion, asset modernisation, and long-term growth. As a Construction Project Manager your duties will include: Champion a strong Health, Safety, Environmental and wellbeing culture, acting as Client Representative under CDM regulations and ensuring full compliance with UK HSE legislation and internal standards. Lead construction projects end-to-end — from concept and design through procurement, construction, commissioning, and operational handover. Manage scope, budget, risk, programme, and change control to ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery. Oversee Principal Contractors and supply chain partners, driving high standards in safety, quality, productivity, and commercial performance. Coordinate closely with Manufacturing, QA, Facilities, Engineering, Validation, and HSE teams to minimise disruption within live GMP environments. Provide strong governance, reporting, and stakeholder communication, chairing project meetings and escalating risks proactively. Support CAPEX planning, financial forecasting, and cost control across the project lifecycle. Promote continuous improvement in construction management standards and deputise for senior leadership when required. Make sound, balanced decisions within delegated authority, operating independently while influencing stakeholders at all levels.
